What do you remember about John Lennon?
Do you remember the first time you heard John Lennon?
It was January of 1964. I heard “I Want To Hold Your Hand ” on WLS-Radio in Chicago. It was a life-changing moment.[embedded content]
Do you remember the first time you saw John Lennon?
It was February 9, 1964. The Beatles made their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.
Do you remember how you heard that John Lennon was killed?
On December 8, 1980, Howard Cosell announced that Lennon had been shot and was dead on Monday Night Football.
Today would have been John Lennon’s 80th birthday. Although he physically was taken from us almost forty years ago, he never really left us. His music and his humanity live on with each of us. Today we celebrate his life. Happy Birthday, John.

Meet The Blogger
Howard Moore
My so called friends think it’s time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don’t tell them that. I’ll deny it until they die!
I can’t believe I’ve been writing this blog for four years.
It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don’t know how to describe it anymore.
I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we’re good for four more years..God help us all!
Oh yeah…the biographical stuff. I’m not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog. -
