Study: Nearly a quarter of adults ages 20-45 in Chicago live with their parents

A recent study found that in Chicago, 20.5% of adults ages 25-40 live with their parents.
The team at MagnifyMoney, a LendingTree brand, analyzed the latest data from the American Community Survey to find the cities where adults ages 25 to 40 still live with their parents and what factors contribute to them living at home. A quick look at what was found:
-Chicago is 14th among cities with the most adults still living with their parents. 20.5% of non-students ages 25-40 live with their parents in Chicago.
-Riverside, Calif. tops the list with 29.4% of adults still living with their parents, up from 28.1% the year before.
-Miami (29%) and Los Angeles (27.2%) come in second and third.
-More men than women live with their parents in the 50 largest metros.
-On average, 1 in 4 adults who live with their parents don’t work.
