Pets in need of homes
Pancake — Petraits Rescue
Pancake is a very sweet, chill and gentle, four-year-old, 3.5-pound, male brown spotted white American fuzzy lop rabbit looking for a loving guardian.
Pancake was relinquished to Friends of Petraits Rescue when his human realized he wasn’t getting the attention he deserved after she had a human baby.
He has an excellent appetite and eats a healthy diet of a very small amount of pellets, timothy and orchard hays, and plenty of fresh greens … romaine, carrots, etc.
He loves attention from his humans, being held, and pet.
He lives in a pen when not supervised, not a cage and is just about perfect with his litter box.
Sadly, he injured his back last winter and although he gets around really well, he’ll be best with gentle people so he doesn’t re-injure himself. He has always lived as the only rabbit in the house, but you never know … he might enjoy a gentle friend.
Pancake has fur like cotton candy that often gets matted so he needs daily grooming to keep him well groomed.
Pancake is neutered and ready for a loving family. His adoption fee of $150 benefits Friends of Petraits Rescue and includes all his belongings … carrying case, food, hay, litter, litter box, pen and favorite toys!
Please contact [email protected] for an application if you’re interested in adopting Pancake.

He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
