Still, they are 5-2. They also face a New Orleans Saints team missing a plethora of players, particularly on offense. Drew Brees will be missing his best offensive pass-catcher in Michael Thomas, along with fellow wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Marquez Callaway.

At this stage, and especially in such a different, ever-changing season, the Bears will take every advantage they can get. They are a team that will undoubtedly be criticized no matter how they win games, so they may as well embrace the advantages.

Other than seeing a less-than-healthy Saints receiving corps, the Bears can make things easier on themselves by doing three things if they are to take out New Orleans on Sunday — and it starts at the top.
