On January 6th Senator Hawley Let His Legs Do the Talking

Josh Hawley ran when the mob broke in;

He didn’t raise his fist.

When his yang broke down and became his yin,

Self-preservation he couldn’t resist.

To die is to be a counterfeit, for he is but the counterfeit of a man who hath not the life of a man; but to counterfeit dying when a man thereby liveth is to be no counterfeit, but the true and perfect image of life indeed. The better part of valor is discretion, in the which better part I have saved my life.’ Sir John Falstaff in Henry IV, Part I

Aquinas wired

I’m Jerry Partacz, happily married to my wife Julie for over 40 years. I have four children and eleven grandchildren. I’m enjoying retirement after 38 years of teaching. I now have an opportunity to share my thoughts on many things. I’m an incurable optimist. I also love to solve crossword puzzles and to write light verse. I love to read, to garden, to play the piano, to collect stamps and coins, and to watch “Curb Your Enthusiasm”.
