Illinois’ coronavirus lockdown is the worst in America

Why, J.B. Pritzker, why? You and your supporters claim that you are “following science,” but where is the science that your maniacal lockdown is the best way to fight coronavirus.

Turns out that your lockdown is the worst in America. That’s according to Wallet Hub, a personal-finance website, that released updated rankings for the States with the Fewest Coronavirus Restrictions, as well as accompanying videos. It also turns out that your lockdown might be the least effective as measured by deaths.

At the bottom of the list is Illinois. Here’s what earns Illinois its dismal ratings:

Coronavirus Restrictions in Illinois (1=Fewest, 25=Avg.):

16^th– Requirement to Wear a Face Mask in Public

41^st– Reopening of Child-Care Programs

44^th– Large Gatherings Restrictions

30^th– “Shelter in Place” Order

47^th – Reopening of Non-Essential Businesses

31^st – Reopening of Restaurants and Bars

Is there a correlation between the severity of the restrictions and death rates?

Apparently so, according to this WalletHub chart. Notice where Illinois is, hiding behind Rhode Island at the extreme position of most restrictive lockdowns and deaths.
