Donald Trump and the rock bottom
We’re not exactly sure what the rock bottom looks like. We think it’s solid rock but most likely when you reach that point, you can go even lower to a space filled with mud and sludge. The only thing we know for sure is if anyone can confirm what exactly the rock bottom is, it’s Donald Trump.
It was thought that he hit rock bottom when he made fun of a disabled journalist. Nope, that wasn’t it. When he caught on tape with the “Grab em in the pussy” line, surely that was rock bottom? Naaaaaa….that also wasn’t it? The combination of the big lie about election fraud and then leading the insurrection at the Capital on January 6 absolutely had to be rock bottom, right?
Well, with the former guy, you never know when you’re going to get lower.
Yesterday, the news broke of the death of Colin Powell. Tributes to the man who spent his life in service to this country came from everywhere. Cable news programs were devoted to this legendary American figure.
And then came the statement from Donald Trump:
“Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media. Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic RINO, if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!”
I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised to see this. Remember when John McCain died? I guess it’s too much to expect anything even close to decency from him.
So about that rock bottom thing? Have we hit it yet? If you think so, wait a couple of days.

Welcome to ChicagoNow.
Meet The Blogger
Howard Moore
My so called friends think it’s time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don’t tell them that. I’ll deny it until they die!
I can’t believe I’ve been writing this blog for four years.
It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don’t know how to describe it anymore.
I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we’re good for four more years..God help us all!
Oh yeah…the biographical stuff. I’m not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog.
