Consistent Character
Circumstances shouldn’t contradict character; even when we’re adapting, who we are should be consistent. Whether it’s a family member, colleague at work or close friend, or even a service provider, we typically call on the same people because they have shown us consistency. Regardless of the occasion, we have an expectation of how they will respond because they are rock solid. High performers will go above and beyond whether working in the office or remotely. True friends will be there whether near or far, and service providers will provide the same level of service any given day of the week.
We live in an ever-changing world where we’re forced to adjust to the times, and we don’t get a say in the matter either. We do however get to weigh in on how we respond. If “change is constant,” so let character also be constant.
