Coco Pazzo to reopen: What’s new?
Coco Pazzo Cafe (212 East Ohio) has announced that it will reopen today, Wednesday, April 14, 2021. The outdoor street level cafe also will be open for al fresco dining, weather permitting. (Note: The outdoor patio at Coco Pazzo, 300 West Hubbard, is open as well, in addition to inside seating.)
The Menu
The Tuscan Italian Cafe will offer a new menu featuring an expanded selection of “small plates” for sampling as well as classic antipasti so diners can relax in an informal setting and enjoy a leisurely dinner.
Seasonal starters on the new menu include such selections as Buffalo Mozzarella with caponata and pesto, Taleggio filled aranci with lemon-garlic aioli, tender grilled octopus with potatoes, olives, tomato and arugula and PEI mussels steeped in saffron broth with andouille sausage. Diners can sip and savor a variety of new cocktails including a refreshing sgropino al limone with prosecco, vodka and lemon sorbet.
Other menu items include focaccia baked daily as well as some of Coco Pazzo Cafe favorites including Spaghetti ‘AOP’, Rigatoni ‘Buttera’ with sausage, peas, tomato and Parmesan and a selection of fresh pizzas including the classic Margherita and the Diavola with spicy salami, tomato and mozzarella.
