TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12
Gary Gulman at The Vic, 8:00 pm. With Colbert writer Emmy Blotnick. It looks like more tickets just became available to see some of the greatest comedians in the history of the art.
The Bob Curry 2021 Showcase at Second City, 8:00 p.m. “We welcome all comedy lovers, casting agents, and industry execs to this annual event that always sells out quickly!”
Tall Tales of Comedy at Zanies Chicago, 8:00 p.m. “The NY Comedy Festival and Audible are collaborating to present the first-ever “Tall Tales of Comedy”, a national competition that will bring together the best emerging comedic storytellers from across the country.”
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13
Liz Miele at Zanies Chicago, 8:00 p.m. Liz Miele is an internationally touring headliner, podcaster and author (Why Cats Are Assholes).
Feelin’ Prickly at The Annoyance, 8:00 p.m. A pro-choice fundraiser for Texas organizations.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14
Maria Bamford at The Den Theatre, 8:00 p.m. Stephen Colbert said Maria Bamford is his favorite comedian on Planet Earth and he’s not alone. Sweetest Day Comedy Jam with at Arie Crown Theater, 2:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Starring D.C. Young Fly, Kountry Wayne, Chico Bean, Karlous Miller and Tony Roberts. Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
Larry “The Soup Nazi” Thomas at The Comedy Shrine, 8:00 p.m. A special edition of the “Whose Line Show.”
Alton Brown at CIBC Theater, 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The “Beyond the Eats Tour.”
Chicago Improv Studio at Bughouse Theater, 7:30 p.m. Improv begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by a free screening and discussion of the film Amongst the Crowd at 10:30 p.m.
