Chicago Bears: Coaches to pursue who may leave their team in 2021on December 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm

One would like to think head coach Matt Nagy finally pulls his head out of his you-know-what and instills some real change, but the Bears continuously put the same old garbage on the field which we’ve come to know week-in and week-out.

A week ago, the defense completely, visibly quit on their coach. This unit is tired of doing all of the dirty work while reaping zero reward. Game after game, the Bears’ top-10 defense continues to play fantastic football and would otherwise be a top-5 unit, if not for an offense that cannot sustain a single drive to save its life.

But, for what? A mere chance at a wildcard spot? A sliver of hope at a postseason bid remaining after starting atop the NFC North?

That’s embarrassing. Things need to change, and things will change. How much change will we see at Halas Hall? That’s the real question.

Throughout the 2020 season, we’ve seen a few other great coaches take a step forward. Some, on the other hand, aren’t exactly in the right spot. Great coaches nonetheless, the Bears should be watching these guys. After all, multiple coaching positions may be up for grabs come January.

Head coach? That seems to be a given. At that point, you may as well say goodbye to Chuck Pagano and Bill Lazor. The Bears’ coaching staff should be (and likely will be) replaced.
