Celebrate National Waffle Day with Nature’s Path Envirokidz’
National Waffle Day is August 24. Are you ready?
Who doesn’t love waffles? With or without chicken, waffles are good any time of the day or any day of the year.
Not only are waffles good but they are healthy. They can be a quick breakfast–especially for kids heading to school.
So when Nature’s Path offered to send me their new waffle offering, Envirokidz–developed as a healthy, convenient breakfast for kids–I said why not.
They promised next day delivery within a two hour window which worked out perfectly.
I threw the waffles, which come frozen, into my freezer and the next morning I popped a couple into the toaster.
The gluten -free, organic waffles have an interesting list of ingredients including navy beans and peas—that don’t necessarily sound kid-friendly but the blend tastes amazing.
Top with some fresh berries and yogurt and enjoy.
Nature’s Path new EnviroKidz waffles come in two flavors: Penguin Party™ (Cinnamon) and Polar Beary™ (Pink–color from beet juice– Blueberry). Both are vegan, gluten-free, and made without any artificial flavors or colors. Each servi contains 14 grams of whole grains and 5 grams of plant-based protein.
Although the new waffles were created for kids they’re not just for kids. Anyone can enjoy them on National Waffle Day or any day.
Envirokidz waffles are available at most major supermarkets in the freezer case.
