CD One Price Cleaners is having a clothing drive to help solve the problem of homelessness
There are many reasons anyone experiences homelessness. The biggest one comes down to money. In order to get the money needed to get off the street or out of a shelter, a job is needed. To get that job, you have to go through the interview process. That means you need to have the proper clothes because as the saying goes you only have one chance to make an impression. It’s difficult to get all of that together when you’re homeless.
CD One Price Cleaners is a dry cleaning operation with thirty-six stores mostly in the Chicago area. This month they’ve put together a clothing drive trying to help people get a start in escaping homelessness.
As the above picture says, they’re accepting donations of outfits that can be used during the interview. If you have a suit, dress, pants, jacket, etc that you know longer need, your local Cd One Price Cleaners is the place to go to make your donation.
There is still one week to go in the clothing drive. You still have the opportunity to do a simple thing that may help someone get the job that will lead them into permanent housing. That pair of pants you haven’t worn in years may be the item one person needs to change their life.
CD One Price Cleaners is trying to eliminate homelessness one outfit at a time.

Meet The Blogger
Howard Moore
My so called friends think it’s time to edit this section. After four years, they may be right, but don’t tell them that. I’ll deny it until they die!
I can’t believe I’ve been writing this blog for four years.
It started as a health/wellness thing and over the years has morphed to include so many things that I don’t know how to describe it anymore.
I really thought this was going to be the final year of the blog but then Donald Trump came along. It looks like we’re good for four more years..God help us all!
Oh yeah…the biographical stuff. I’m not 60 anymore. The rest you can read about in the blog. -
