Pets in need of homes
Bella and Bubba — Petraits Rescue
Bella and Bubba are best friend one-year-old tri-color smooth coat guinea pigs looking for loving guardian together.
Bubba is a neutered male and Bella is an un-spayed female who adore each other and live together beautifully. They have been lovingly cared for and are well socialized and very sweet.
Guinea pigs eat a diet of unlimited Timothy hay (or Orchard hay – a little better if you have allergies), limited pellets, and fresh greens daily including romaine, red leaf and green leaf lettuces, cilantro, etc. Fresh veggies are important since guinea pigs, like humans, can’t manufacture their own vitamin C, they need fresh foods daily like bell peppers or sometimes they will eat vitamin C tablets.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/.
They would love a home with a family who will handle them daily, keep them well fed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Bubba and Bella, please contact [email protected].
They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
Their adoption fee of $70 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. For an additional $100, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for them including a nice large cage, hay, litter, food, toys and water bottle.
