The 2022 NFL Draft is done now and teams are starting to get ready for what will be an extremely fun 2022 season. There are low expectations for the Chicago Bears but they believe they are building towards something great in the future.

They made 11 very interesting draft picks this year and all of them are going to bring something different to camp as they try to make it to the NFL. Not only do these guys want to make it to the NFL, but they also want to become impact players at the NFL level.

The Bears also signed some undrafted free agents to help them. They are hoping that a few of them can help them in their quest to become a winning team. You never know who can become a really good player in the league. These three might be able to make the Opening Day roster:

11

Chase Allen

TE, Cyclones

Chase Allen is someone who might be able to play with the Chicago Bears.

The Chicago Bears haven’t had a dominant tight end force in a long time. They had Jimmy Graham past his prime in recent years and they even drafted Cole Kmet in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. We don’t know what Kmet’s ceiling is so they are still trying to figure that out.

Once the draft was over, Chase Allen’s name was still out there. He signed with the Chicago Bears as a tight end out of Iowa State University. He is someone that might be good enough to play in the NFL as a backup. If Justin Fields ever finds his game and becomes a star, the more tight end options he has, the better off he will be. Hopefully, Chase Allen pays off.
