A car drove into the building of Morton Cleaners, 5932 W. Irving Park Rd.

One person was hospitalized after crashing their car into a building early Sunday in Portage Park on the Northwest Side.

Just before 1 a.m., a car drove into the building of Morton Cleaners, 5932 W. Irving Park Rd., according to Chicago fire officials.

One person had to be extradited from the car but was able to walk on their own to the ambulance, fire officials said.

The person was taken to Community First Medical Center in good condition, fire officials said.
