Public Affairs with Jeff Berkowitz
Watch Berkowitz w/Martin discuss Fed’s potential action against Speaker Madigan, Ex- Comed CEO Pramaggiore, Ex-City Club Pres Doherty; 6th CD Ives v. Casten, Cable & Web
Tonight’s Chicago Metro edition of “Public Affairs” focuses on (1) the Fed’s investigation relating, among others, to IL House Speaker Madigan, Ex-COMED CEO Anne Pramaggiore, Ex- long time City Club of Chicago President and Democrat political consultant and operative Jay Doherty and already charged ex- COMED senior VP Fidel Marquez (2) an update on the 6th CD contest and the shananigans of Ex-State GOP Chair and now apparently political gadfly Pat Brady.
Tonight’s North and Northwest Chicago Metro suburban edition of Public Affairs airs in 25 suburbs at 8:30 pm on:
—Comcast Cable Ch. 19 in Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, parts of Inverness, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles, Northfield, Palatine, Rolling Meadows and Wilmette and on
—Comcast Cable Ch. 35 in Arlington Heights, Bartlett, Glenview, Golf, Des Plaines, Hanover Park, Mt. Prospect, Northbrook, Park Ridge, Prospect Heights, Schaumburg, Skokie, Streamwood and Wheeling.
The show features a discussion of the potential threat to Mike Madigan’s decades long reign as speaker and freedom as the Feds appear to consider filing charges against him and others at or involved with COMED, Illinois state government, Chicago and/or Cook County politics and/or politicians.
Watch Jeff Berkowitz and Illinois Channel’s Executive Editor Terry Martin discuss the Fed investigation relating to Speaker Mike Madigan, Ex-COMED CEO Anne Pramaggiore, Ex- City Club of Chicago President Jay Doherty and Ex- COMED senior VP, Government Relations, Fidel Marquez.
The COMED deferred prosecution agreement with the U. S. Attorney (ND, IL) John Lausch and its implications, along with those of other public reports, for the possible Fed actions against Madigan, Pramaggiore, Doherty and others are discussed in detail
Also discussed is the deferred prosecution agreement’s statements (which is potential evidence for a trial) about discussions purporting to relate to Speaker Madigan’s desire to influence the appointment of someone to the COMED Board of Directors.
Also discussed is former State GOP Chairman Pat Brady and his peculiar, gadfly type decision to endorse Democrat Cong. Sean Casten in the IL 6th CD contest involving freshman incumbent Casten and his challenger, former State Rep. Jeanne Ives.
Ives came within 20,000 votes of becoming the Republican nominee for Governor in 2018. Brady has never held a publicly elected office, but is an attorney and a PR guy.
