Finishing a thing is just as important as starting it. The longer you’re in it, the more you may feel like quitting. The thrill fades and the applause silences. But there is a thing called opportunity – a time favorable for the purpose. If you remember why you started in the first place, it’s fuel to keep going until that purpose has been fulfilled. The time, right people in right positions, and the assignment may not be aligned at first, but when they are, opportunity knocks, and you must be ready to answer as well as be the answer. You must be the solution to the problem.

You cannot create opportunity, but you can certainly prepare for it and respond to it. The frustrating part is not being able to make it happen, but rather waiting until it does happen. The best thing to do is stay in position and be ready.
