Bullpen Usage

Alec Mills looks to go full Johnny Vander Meer Saturday and throw consecutive no-hitters. Kyle Hendricks was nearly that good in eight shutout innings in Friday’s 1-0 win. The offense did not generate much against Rich Hill and will need to be better against Pineda. The Cubs got some bad injury news before the game, Rowan Wick will likely miss the rest of the season with an oblique strain. It’s a blow to a bullpen that has been great this month. Andrew Chafin has been activated from the injured list to take his spot.
