Got a late news release that I just happen to have the gumption to post here. Has to do with an event for Labor Day weekend, but the deadline for buying tickets is this Wednesday.
Kick off your Labor Day weekend with The Northman Beer & Cider Garden as we take to the Chicago River. Join us for a spectacular Cider Cruise on Friday, September 3 aboard Chicago’s Emerald Lady. There will be numerous producers sampling cider around the boat, as well as hors d’oeuvres from The Northman menu. During the 2-hour cruise, we will host a few short talks on the history of cider as well as the architectural history along the Chicago River.
The ticket price is $79.00 and covers the architectural cruise itself, as well as all the food and cider available during the cruise. Boarding begins at 7:15pm from Chicago’s Emerald Lady boat launch (112 E. Wacker Drive), directly next door to The Northman Beer & Cider Garden. The festivities will begin dockside with the cruise beginning at 8pm, lasting around 2 hours. We will return to the dock around 10pm to disembark. There will be a wide variety of cider available.
The deadline for tickets (at BrownPaperTickets) is midnight Wednesday night, September 1.
Cideries available at this cruise include: Stem Ciders, Uncle John’s Hard Cider, Right Bee, Overgrown Orchard, Eris, Farnum Hill, B United, Pux Cider, ANXO Cider, Virtue Cider, 2 Towns Ciderhouse, B. Nektar, & JuneShine Hard Kombucha.
