Hey there!

My name is Serita Love and I am an Author and Personal Branding Strategist. I will be contributing to this platform to capture success stories.

This blog will include interviews about ambitious youth, career professionals, entreprenuers and community leaders making great strides. These are the people who don’t stop during circumstances where others would’ve easily given up! With times being as hectic as they are right now, we could all use some motivation and practical tips to press forward.

I have an achievement lifestyle brand called Success Junkie. I host an annual Success Junkie Summit (taking place this year on November 21st in Chicago), where I bring urban professionals together to share tools and resources that promote upward social mobility.  I believe that stories about passionate individuals who defy the odds is rewarding to virtually anyone who wants to step out and do the things that are most impactful. As an author, speaker and business branding/marketing coach, I feel like this is the perfect time to take an innovative approach to spreading positivity.

I will be highlighting defining moments for featured professionals and placing an emphasis on how they continue to press forward without losing themselves in the process. I’m a huge fan of seeing people remain humble as they elevate. If you’re someone who likes to reach back as you climb, then I think you will like it here!

I take pride in being a product of Englewood in Chicago and being a role model to our youth, all while connecting people from diverse communities. To be afforded the opportunity to place the spotlight on local socially enterprising professionals is an honor.
