Billy is a fun and friendly, one-year-old, seven-pound, male mostly white Californian/Lionhead-mix rabbit looking for a loving guardian.
Billy was relinquished to Friends of Petraits Rescue when his human moved across the country and didn’t feel a rabbit fit into her lifestyle anymore. He was purchased impulsively from a farmer who was selling irresistible baby bunnies at a rest stop off the expressway.
He eats a healthy diet of a very small amount of pellets, timothy and orchard hays, and plenty of fresh greens … romaine, etc.
He loves attention from his humans, being held, brushed and pet. He even allows you to easily trim his nails. He comes with his cage and a pen to run around in.
He is very afraid of dogs and cats, but appears to thoroughly enjoy other rabbits and guinea pigs.
Billy is extremely healthy, vet-checked, neutered, microchipped and ready for a loving family. His adoption fee of $175 benefits Friends of Petraits Rescue and includes all his belongings … carrying case, food, hay, litter, litter box, pen, cage, and favorite toys!
Please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com for an application if you’re interested in adopting Billy.

He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
