Shh!

“Speech is silver, but silence is golden.” Everything doesn’t require a prating response as that is foolish. Being quiet especially when there is something to be said, shows discipline and self-control. Once released, words can not be taken back and can be more powerful than any deadly weapon. Silence is still a form of communication and can sometimes speak louder than any words articulated.

I remember many years ago taking a ride with my child’s father and he took my hand and placed it in his and said absolutely nothing. We rode in complete silence the entire time but had one of the best conversations ever. I still remember that talk. My silence speaks volumes!
